What Can Massage Therapy Do For Me?

Although massage therapy performed on a healthy individual can increase muscle flexibility and circulation and decrease stress levels, the most profound changes from massage occur when the body has experienced illness or trauma.  Psychological benefits are also most evident in those experiencing stress and depression.

Even though a single massage will be enjoyable, the cumulative effects of a course of treatments bring the highest level of benefit.  Regular treatments can have the affect of strengthening and toning the entire body, and so help prevent unnecessary strain and injury that might otherwise occur.  At its best, massage has the potential to provide physical, mental and spiritual relief.

COVID-19 Update

Due to the State of Emergency announced in Waterloo Region this past week and the mandate put forth by PHA and my governing college (CMTO), I will be temporarily keeping my Massage Therapy Clinic closed at this time. As I am unsure as to when it will be safe to reopen, I will be contacting clients on a weekly basis who have an upcoming appointment to cancel their treatments and will be placing them on a rebook list for when this outbreak has passed.
